David Alan Carmichael
David is the Principal Minister of Freedom Ministries, a Christian evangelism, discipleship ministry committed to conveying the truth of God's word to every issue and situation for our day. His Faith and Freedom radio show was broadcast in Hampton Roads from July 2007 through April 2009 and now broadcasts on WOGF Frank Talk 104.3 FM in West-Central Florida, where David talks about the issues of the day from a constitutional basis, a biblical basis, and on the basis of right versus wrong. He began his public ministry through Educational Christian Ministries in 1997. There, David provided free computer classes to meet people's physical need for job skill training. During each class, he gave his students inspiring messages and Biblical counseling that led many to the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
In 2004, David authored Faith – The Final Frontier. It is a true-life faith thriller where the reader can share the experience of David's tests, temptations, trials, tragedies, and ultimate triumphs. One avid reader stated, "It is the most exciting book that I have read in twenty years." Another reader commented, "I have never been able to read a book all the way through before his." Several readers said, "Once I started reading it, I could not put it down."
David Alan Carmichael lives in Hampton, Virginia, with his wife Leslie, and his four children Bethany, Jesse, Isaac, and Abigail (Abby). He has been active in teaching and service ministries since 1985. He served as Worship Pastor at Restoration Church in Hampton, Virginia, from May 1, 2000 to May 31, 2003. His ministry is now devoted full-time under the banner of Freedom Ministries. Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

Calling All Pastors for a New Great Awakening
Stan Treleaven and David Carmichael join Valley Faith in Action host Dean Welty to sound the alarm — like modern-day Paul Reveres — about the direction of America today. Just as importantly, they have some suggestions for what we can all do together to restore the vision of America as "A City on a Hill".
