James C. Anderson was born in Newport News, Virginia in 1952. He received his B. S. from the University of Virginia in 1974 and his M. D. in 1978. He is Board Certified in both Family Practice and Emergency Medicine. He is in the process of writing ‘How Family Dysfunction has Impacted Adolescent Emergency Room Medical Care’.

He has served as Chairman of Dove Christian School, Virginia Physicians for the Unborn Child, the Family Policy Council, the U-Turn Peak Performance Academy and other organizations and events. He organized and serves on the Executive Board of the Richmond Christian Medical & Dental Association.

James has served In the US Army Reserve Medical Corps with the rank of Lt. Col. He Has 4 active duty assignments including 2 in Iraq. He has membership in local, State and National Medical Associations.

James has been married for 35 years and has 4 children.

For the past 35 years he has been a leader in the pro-life effort.
