Janet  is a member of the Virginia Christian Alliance Truth Project Team.

Janet is the Executive Assistant to her husband, Dean, who is Director of the Valley Family Forum, a network of families in the Shenandoah Valley that helps build Faith, Family, and Freedom in the culture and in the public square. He also hosts a weekly television program entitled "Valley Faith in Action".

She is a former public school music teacher and supported her husband and family on assignment to US Embassies in Korea, Japan, Papua New Guinea and Jamaica.

Born in Pennsylvania, she attended college in Harrisonburg and graduated from Goshen College in Indiana. She has done post-graduate work at Catholic University in Washington, DC.

She and Dean have lived in Harrisonburg since 1998 and have been married for 40 years, with two adult children and three grandchildren. Her hobbies are swimming, music and travel.
